Binance, one of the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchanges, has announced its decision to support the upcoming network upgrade for Sei (SEI). The upgrade is scheduled to start at 19:00 on January 25, 2024.
Binance Announces Support for Sei (SEI) Network Upgrade
To ensure a smooth user experience during the upgrade process, Binance will temporarily suspend token deposits and withdrawals on the Sei (SEI) network.
This measure is in line with Binance’s commitment to providing its users with a robust and secure trading environment.
The network upgrade is scheduled to occur at block height 53,894,102, or around 20:00 on January 25, 2024.
It is important to note that while deposits and withdrawals are temporarily suspended, token trading on the Sei (SEI) network will not be affected. Users can continue to trade these tokens seamlessly throughout the upgrade period.
Binance has taken responsibility for managing all technical aspects related to the network upgrade on behalf of its users. These responsibilities include ensuring a smooth transition and addressing technical requirements that may arise during the process.
Once the upgraded network is deemed stable, Binance will restart deposits and withdrawals for tokens on the Sei (SEI) network.
It is worth noting that there will be no additional announcements regarding the reopening, emphasizing Binance’s commitment to keeping its user base informed and updated.
